GUESTS WITH IMPAIRED MOBILITY

  • Restoration Ark endeavors to offer the same high-quality facilities to our less able-bodied guests. Certified guide dogs are welcome on our property. Please check with the office if you have any special requirements. We will do our best to accommodate your needs. Please note there are a roots and rocks between walkways and paths, but we are willing to help impaired mobility guests to and from buildings. Please speak to the office for options.

 

SAFETY

  • We have made every effort to make our campground a safe place for families and children. We have completed background checks on any staff (which are available in the office) who work here, including teachers for the homeschool co-op. We have cameras mounted throughout the campground to increase safety and encourage accountability of guests and staff. Towards the same goal, we have rules for how children are allowed to move about the campground. No child under the age of 12 years old can go anywhere on the campground without a parent or guardian, or at least 2 staff members. No child between the ages of 13-17 years old may move about the campground with less than 3 other teens of the same gender. If any suspicious activity is occurring, please report it to the office IMMEDIATELY. 

 

PETS

  • Pets are not allowed on the property. Our animals are a priority to us, and we do not want any new animals introduced here at any time. Certified service animals are welcome with proof of certification, as well as certain restrictions, however, guests must contact office for details prior to arrival.

 

SMOKING

  • Please note that the buildings on this property are fully non-smoking. In the case where guests do smoke in the buildings, or on the grounds, a fine of $250.00 will be charged. Smoking must be done at the road.

 

ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE

  • Restoration Ark Retreat Center guarantees ready to use cabins by 2 pm on the day of arrival. All buildings must be vacated by 11 AM on the day of departure, unless previously scheduled. Late check-out of 1 PM is possible, depending on availability, for an additional charge of $50 per cabin.​

 

COMPLAINTS

  • We take our guest satisfaction very seriously. Any complaint or comment regarding a stay should be made in the first instance to the office AT THE TIME of your stay so that we can resolve it immediately. If you have enjoyed your stay, please consider giving us a positive review online.

 

QUIET TIME

  • 10 p.m. / 7 a.m. – please be considerate of others. No loud music at any time.  Gym is locked at 10 PM.

 

SPEED LIMIT

  • Please observe a speed limit of no more than 5 mph for the safety of guest as well as our children and animals.

 

MODESTY

  • We do not allow short shorts here. No low hanging or revealing "see-through" shirts. NO BIKINI’S. This property is owned and operated by a Christian family, and we require guests to respect and abide by the standards listed in these rules. If a person has no other swim suit, and cannot afford a more modest suit, they are permitted to where a tank over their bikini. No string strapped tanks, two-inch-wide straps required.

 

POOL USE

  • Health department requirements state a lifeguard must be on duty for use of the pool. If the campground cannot provide a lifeguard, guests may provide their own, with a discount of $15/hour. No running, no diving, no eating or drinking inside the pool fence. Please use common sense safety rules to avoid injury.

 

CHILDREN

  • We want the children to be safe & have a good time, but always under the watchful eyes of a parent/guardian. We are not responsible for their safety or welfare. You are liable for their behavior. Due to the pool, pond, and any unforeseen dangers on this property, children are not allowed to wander unsupervised. Refer to safety rules.

  • 12 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at ALL times, or no less than 2 staff. Any persons between 13-17 years old must travel the campground with no less than a group of 2 more (of their same gender and age group), unless with a parent or guardian. 

TRASH 

  • Dumpster located near the pool house for trash. Please use trash receptacles. Cleanliness of the property is important to us. Cabins and tent sites are to be kept clean and orderly.

 

FIRE ARMS - CONCEALED CARRY 

  • This is private property, and if you are a guest here, you must not openly hold firearms on the property unless you are an officer of the law. We do, however, allow concealed carry with a permit, all weapon MUST be concealed.

 

CONDUCT 

  • Disorderly conduct, drunkenness, illegal drugs, obscene language, obnoxious, disruptive or vulgar behavior will not be tolerated. They will be reason for immediate dismissal from property without refund.

 

DRUGS

  • Illegal drugs of any form are prohibited on the property. Person(s) caught in violation of this rule are subject to immediate dismissal from property without a refund. 

 

LIABILITY 

  • All property facilities and equipment of the property, and any and all persons using the facilities do so at THEIR OWN RISK and consent. The property owner is NOT RESPONSIBLE for accident due to fire, theft, wind, flood, personal negligence, acts of God or other unfortunate circumstances. 

 

VANDALISM

  • Destruction of property, vandalism, and writing on any walls, beds, trees, or any of Restoration Ark's property will not only result in an immediate dismissal without a refund, it will result in a loss of deposit. Please do not damage our property in order to leave your name. We provide autograph books in each cabin for leaving your signature and a message to future campers. Full inspections will be done after each reservation. Person who made the reservation will be financially responsible for any damages done by any person(s) included in their event.

GENERAL INFORMATION

  • Although every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the information contained online, we cannot accept responsibility for any errors or omissions, and reserve the right to vary, amend, supplement or cancel any of the information or offers featured online at any time. In case the above terms and conditions do not sufficiently foresee in any case, Restoration Ark will decide regarding this issue.

 

Pricing

  • All rates shown online are per reservation (unless otherwise stated). Rates are subject to change without notice. However, your rate is guaranteed once you receive a booking confirmation.

 

Payment

  • Full Payment is due 48 hours before your scheduled event/stay, and is non-refundable. Payments not turned in by this time will result in a loss of your reservation with no return of deposit. Payments can be made by mail, using cash or check, or online, by credit card or PayPal as long as it arrives 48 hours prior to your event/stay.

 

Catering

  • Catering must be paid in full, 2 weeks prior to stay, and is non-refundable. Food cannot be returned once purchased, therefore all food costs are non-refundable.

Complaints or comments

  • We take our guest satisfaction very seriously. Any complaint or comment regarding a stay should be made in the first instance to the manager at the time of your stay so that we can resolve it immediately. In the case you have enjoyed your stay, please consider giving us a positive review online.

 

Cancellation and Refunds

  • If you cancel your event 15 days or more, prior to your reserved date, there will be no penalty and you will be fully refunded your deposit and any amount paid toward your stay.

 

Cancellation and No Refunds

  • If you cancel your stay or event 14 days or less, prior to your scheduled arrival, you will not be refunded the 50% deposit, but will however receive any amount paid toward your stay beyond the amount of the deposit.

  • Food costs are due 2 weeks prior to stay. Food orders must be made in advance, and cannot be refunded, therefore catering costs are also non-refundable for any reason.

  • If you or a member of your group causes your group to be evicted from the property, you will not only lose your full deposit, but also your full payment with no refund. Payment in FULL is required on the day of arrival if using a credit card or cash. However, payment by check, or pay-pal must be paid in full 14 days prior to arrival.

 

Cancellation and Penalties

  • If you cancel your stay or event less 48 hours prior to your scheduled arrival you will be responsible for the entire amount. It is impossible for us to fill last minute openings with less than 48 hours’ notice, therefore these types of cancellations would be complete losses for us. However, if you are able to find someone to take your spot, and we do not encounter a financial loss, we will refund your entire amount.
